![]() I will be going out tomorrow to function test these. I just made another 50 rounds with the CCI Primers and really cranked down on the primer seating and they appear to be more flush with the base of the brass. the Win primers and noted that the CCI's are "taller" than the Win primers (.1205 in. I then measured the height of the CCI primers vs. I finally looked carefully at the seating depth of the primers and have discovered that the CCI primers do not fully seat (flush) with the base of the brass shell. When using the CCI small rifle primers, my M1 Carbine has intermittently failed to function properly. The Win small rifle primers have not given me one problem at all. At first I thought it might be hardness or softness (or power, for lack of a better term) of the different brands. I've been having problems using CCI small rifle primers with my M1 Carbine reloads. I've been trying to "de-bug" my M1 Carbine reloads.
